What is Zoom 2! In-Office Whitening?
Zoom 2!™ In-Office Whitening is a professional whitening procedure that can significantly brighten your smile with 1 application. The treatment begins with a special hydrogen-peroxide based gel that is applied to your teeth. A special light is then used to activate the gel and is left to work for 1 hour. The light will never get warmer than your body temperature, so it’s unlikely you will feel any tooth sensitivity. However, if you are feeling any discomfort, let us know immediately.
We’ll protect all the soft tissue in and around your mouth from the light we use to activate the gel during the procedure. We’ll give you protective eyewear and monitor you during the process to ensure any exposed skin or tissue is isolated and protected.
After the hour is up, we’ll remove the gel from your teeth and apply a fluoride treatment to protect them. The entire procedure takes just over an hour, with the preparation period usually taking no longer than 15 minutes. During the procedure, you’re welcome to watch TV, listen to music, or have a nap.
